About
Biography
Cultivated in the 70's, Bela is an industrial designer, graduated from the UAM/Azcapolzalco with a specialty in Barcelona.
She has worked independently for projects such as ZOTROPE at Pixar.
She also worked for LEGO and different advertising agencies developing proposals for new products, set design and events.
She created ALIMAÑA, with her partner and friend Humberto Matali. This new project consists of designing and producing vinyl toys. Within Alimaña, different projects are developed, like PROPS design for video clips and stop motion; character design and image for different companies; and the development of vinyl toys, character and background design, as well as the production and marketing.
Bela has been invited to present her work in galleries in Mexico, Chicago, Los Angeles and Barcelona. Her daily activities are comprised of 3D modeling, sculpting, painting with various techniques and materials, and using various types of software, not just one in particular. Her main goal is to continue creating!
