Mike Alderson is creative director & co-founder of London based design & motion super studio, ManvsMachine. Prior to launching ManvsMachine in 2007, Mike worked as an apprentice welder in a glass factory up North, raced bikes at professionally all over Europe, then settled in London where he studied Moving Image Design at Ravensbourne, graduating with a first Promax Gold Award already to his name in 2002. Within two years he became Head of Design at Mainframe where he worked for three enjoyable years before becoming a proper grown-up and starting his own agency.
Mike’s and ManvsMachine’s work has gained global acclaim, recently winning D&AD and multiple PromaxBDA awards. At the 2010 PromaxBDA conference in New York they were announced as one of the industries leading studios during the seminar ‘Design Shops You Won’t Be Able to Afford Next Year’.
