SPECIAL EVENT - CUT&PASTE @ YASALAM 2011

EVENT OVERVIEW

November 3rd, Flash Entertainment brought Cut&Paste to the Middle East for the first time, as part of the exciting new events that were unveiled on the Abu Dhabi Corniche during Yasalam 2011. Cut&Paste brought its live digital design battle, where emerging professional designers faced off onstage and create original works of design in fast-paced 15-minute elimination rounds. Each designer was equipped with their own computer workstation connected to large projection screens where the audience witnessed the action, accompanied by DJ Lobito.

Rafael Gregor Valerio Valencia A.K.A ‘Digital Addict’ is a Dubai based graphic designer/illustrator with 6 years of professional Graphic Design experience in publishing and recently advertising. Rafael has been passionately involved in creative endeavors since he was old enough to hold a pencil. Creating his first website in 1999, to present his self-made illustrations and take his passion to the next level. Currently, Rafael is employed as a Junior Art Director with Leo Burnett – Dubai and is a member of the Dubai based Design Collective ‘BrownMonkeys’.
