After cutting his teeth at several web and graphic design companies, Takumi became a free agent in 2010. His skill-set encompasses digital illustration, 3D modeling as well as Japanese ink painting, or Suibokuga, which he’s been learning from master artist Shukou Tsuchiya since 2009. Recent works include character design for an MTV program, live performance for cosmetics brand Three and art work for a music video of a Japanese female pop star. In 2011, he was part of “BLACK,” a group exhibition in Paris. Since 2012, he’s being a member of wildcard inc. Takumi is also a frequent guest at parties thrown by design team “mokuva”.
